Applicable rules distinguish between technologies required for the operation of a website and technologies used for additional purposes, for which the user’s consent may be required.
2. Cookies used by LungoCosta
LungoCosta uses:
- technical and functional cookies required for or related to the operation of the Website;
- a cookie used to record choices made through the consent management system;
- Google Analytics 4 cookies, activated only after the user has consented to the Analytics category.
The LungoCosta Google Tag Manager container does not currently contain Google Ads, Meta Pixel or other advertising tags.
3. Technical and functional cookies
These cookies are used for technical Website functions or to remember a choice made by the user.

Purpose: records the preferences selected by the user through the consent management system.
Duration: 365 days.
Category: necessary / consent management.
pll_language
Provider: LungoCosta / Polylang
Domain: www.lungocosta.it
Purpose: remembers the language used to display the Website.
Observed duration: 365 days.
Category: functional / language preference.
4. Google Analytics 4
LungoCosta uses Google Analytics 4 to obtain statistics about how the Website is used.
Analytics cookies are installed only after the user has consented to the Analytics category.
LungoCosta has chosen to make activation of GA4 conditional upon user consent.
During a technical verification carried out on 28 September 2026, the following cookies were detected after Analytics consent had been given:

The durations shown reflect the configuration actually observed on the Website at the time of verification and may be updated if the service configuration changes.
5. Google Tag Manager
LungoCosta uses Google Tag Manager to technically manage the Google Tag associated with Google Analytics 4.
As of the date of this Policy, the container used by LungoCosta contains a single Google Tag for GA4.
The presence of Google Tag Manager does not in itself authorise Analytics cookies: their activation remains subject to the preferences selected through MC Policy.
6. Analytics consent
When required, the consent management system displayed on first access allows users to accept, reject or configure optional categories.
If Analytics consent is not given, the _ga and _ga_FHXVJJMPPG cookies are not installed under the configuration used by LungoCosta.
Consent to optional tracking technologies requires an affirmative choice by the user and is not obtained through a pre-ticked box or simply by continuing to browse the Website.
7. Refusing optional cookies
Refusing Analytics cookies does not prevent access to the Website’s content.
The free guide, editorial pages and other functions that do not require Analytics cookies remain available without Analytics consent.
8. Changing or withdrawing your preferences
You may change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie preference control that remains available on the Website.
Withdrawing consent prevents subsequent processing based on that consent.
Cookies already stored on your device can also be deleted through your browser settings.
9. Browser settings
The main web browsers allow users to view, delete or block cookies through their settings.
Blocking all cookies may affect the operation of certain features of websites you visit.
10. Third-party services
When you follow a link to an external website, any cookies or tracking technologies used by the destination website are subject to the terms and policies of its operator.
The mere presence on LungoCosta of a link to an external website does not, in itself, cause cookies belonging to that external website to be installed on your device.
11. Changes to this Cookie Policy
The list of cookies will be updated when there are material changes to the services or technologies used by LungoCosta.
This Cookie Policy describes the configuration verified as of the date shown at the beginning of the document.
